Glenn Ticehurst, RLA, ASLA, CLARB, Principal

A licensed landscape architect and the principal of the firm, Glenn holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from both the College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY) and Syracuse University. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB).

 

Glenn joined Armand Benedek in 1982 and became a partner in 1990. He worked closely with Armand to help to shape the vision and direction of the firm and took over management when Armand died in February 2004.

Today it is Glenn's extensive design experience and reputation that keeps the firm in demand.

 

Glenn is also personally involved with the following organizations:

  • Westmoreland Sanctuary Board of Directors (Co-Vice President)
  • Westchester Land Trust Advisory Board and Land Committee
  • Bedford 2020, Water and Land Use Task Force
  • Bedford Open Space Acquisition Committee (Co-Chair)

 

In whatever free time remains, Glenn can usually be found fly fishing or relaxing with his family.

 

Edward Figura, RLA, ASLA, CLARB, CPESC, Associate

Ed is a licensed landscape architect and has been with the firm for more than 20 years. His technical expertise and artistic abilities have helped define the work of the firm.

Ed holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the State University of New York at Purchase, as well as an Associates Degree in Civil Technology. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Board (CLARB) and is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sedimentation Control (CPESC).  Ed is also a certified yoga instructor and outdoor enthusiast.

 

Seth Ticehurst, RLA, ASLA, CLARB, CPESC, Associate

Seth holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Georgia as well as an Associate’s Degree in Landscape Development from the State University of New York at Cobleskill. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB) and is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC). He previously worked for firms in Boulder, Colorado and State College, Pennsylvania. Seth is involved in many of Benedek & Ticehurst’s projects from the early preliminary stages to the final completion of the construction. Seth’s love of nature extends to outside the office as well and he is an avid hiker and camper.

 

Tina Barrett, Office Manager

Since joining the firm, Tina has been responsible for client relations and account management as well as administration and financial reporting. Tina also works part-time at the Mianus River Gorge in Bedford, NY. She has over 30 years of experience serving both public and private clients in the profit and not-for-profit sectors.
